On May 12, 2012, Cambridge Rotarians and their families donned garden gloves and picked up spades to plant trees at Chilligo Creek in support of the Grand River Conservation Authority's restoration project.  Over the past few years, Cambridge North Rotary has supported this project physically (tree planting) and financially (donations), and was also the sponsor for the GRCA's application for a $75,000 Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant that got this project off the ground.  This time around, the trees were paid for by Borealis Restaurant, which also had people out planting along side Rotarians.
