OPENING CEREMONIES
President Laureen brought the meeting of Cambridge North Rotary (CNR)  to order . Mike Jennings led us in a rousing O'Canada that would make any Canadian proud . Don Daggett did a very fine invocation.

TABLE TALK
 We talked about  golf tournament that is now behind us  . The election candidates have started
their campaigns and election signs our showing up everywhere .
 
  I noticed that our new inductee Jim Robinson was enjoying a martini at our table - not sure if this
  was to calm his nerve's before being inducted.
 
Our lunches arrived in orderly manner and and was able to satisfy our luncheon hunger pains.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
SERGEANT-AT-ARMS REPORT

Sgt-At-Arms Don Daggett  announced that 16 of 21 members were present today, representing  76 % attendance.  Jim Robinson, a guest of Larry Olney soon to be inducted today.

 

 

HAPPY-TOONIES
 
Dean was happy for the win and was coming out of the worst of his home renovations . How come there
is never any dust when you watch the home renovators shows on TV .
 
Mike Jennings did announced 1 less kid in the house - did a roadtrip to Nashville with his son and a friend.
 
Larry announce he would be missing the next 2 meetings . He and Anita are leaving on vacation to Iceland.
Look forward to hearing about his adventure when he gets back.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
Mike Jennings announced that the golf tournament was another successful year . He thanked Laureen for her hard work
and Larry for the luncheon - and  all the golf committee members for their involvement - the members who
who golfed and brought out teams. For those who also donated silent auction items .
 
Mike B - announced that his daughter told him as he tucked her in for the night - thanks for letting her
go to school - she just started JK .
 
 
Larry announced that had very good  membership meeting and was provided with  a good number
of prospective new members to contact.
 
 
 
GUEST SPEAKER
 
There was no guest speaker today.
 
Today was the day that Jim Robinson was inducted - he is no longer a guest of Larry's.

Today we had the honor of our treasurer - Dave Thomas - who presented our Profit and Loss Budget Overview
for the upcoming year.
 
There was a lively discussion and a final draft of the Budget will be emailed out .

SERGEANT-AT-ARMS SCHEDULE

The Sgt.‐At‐Arms (SAA) shall mark the attendance sheet, input Guest Names, Visiting Rotarians and Make‐ups submitted by club members, as well as calculate the meeting percentage. You will also give the invocation when requested by the President. At the end of the meeting make sure the Secretary has the “Secretary’s Copy”.


In addition, the SAA shall also fill in the attendance details on the “Bulletin Editor’s Copy” and make sure the editor receives it by the end of the meeting.

The person who is responsible for any Ticket sales shall enter the cash details on the “Treasurer’s Copy”. They shall also collect the Happy Toonies and enter that information on the same sheet. At the end of the meeting they shall give the treasurer the tally sheet along with the cash in an envelope. There is a supply of banker’s envelopes in the tote box.
