TABLE TALK
There was quite a bit of chatter around the table. Sean Carragher recently was part of the team that just completed 24 hours of continuous snowmobiling. The team did 3282 Kilometres in 24 hours. This earned them a place in the Guinness book of records.  The team had a top speed of 208 km per hour and one rider averaged 160 km per hour in his shift. I think talking about speeds of 208 kn per hour on a snowmobile had Fred Schiedel very excited. Tim Whitehead one of our regular Rotarian Visitors informed us that he was also part of a Guinness book of records. He was part of a group of 10,000 people holding hands on the Rideau Canal in Ottawa.
SERGEANT-AT-ARMS REPORT

Sgt Ken Denholm announced that 17 members were present. This worked out to be a 74 % attendance. The only guest was Tim Whitehead visiting from the Mississauga Rotary Club. Past District Governor Kathi Dick was also present today but we still consider her to be one of us.

HAPPY-TOONIES

Sean Carragher was made a wee bit happier today however he had three weeks of mixed emotions. While on a trip in Quebec he found out that Bonnie fell and sustained a fracture, he was part of the Guinness Book of record snowmobile trip and in the last week his mother passed away.  We extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family on your mother's  death.
