TABLE TALK
I couldn't keep track of all the "zoom" talk today.

SERGEANT-AT-ARMS REPORT

We had 13 members on-line today (68%) - almost a complete computer screen.

HAPPY-TOONIES
Here we go:
Larry - He was happy to have clean teeth. Time for a new tooth brush.

Stephen - Happy to have received a Paul Harris Fellow pin (PHF-#8) from Rotary International for Ken. Congrats ken but you will have to pick it up from Stephen.

Fred - Happy to no longer be stuck in the mud. Yes, there is only one thing that can keep Fred down - Muskoka mud! Thanks to CAA he was here for our zoom meeting.

Ken - Happy to have pre-registered to receive his covid vaccination. Ken will also be heading to Calgary via an amazing seat sale with West Jet.

Doug - Also happy to have booked tickets during the same seat sale for a flight to Calgary in August to do a bit of hiking with the family.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Go to the next "speaker" section for club business...

GUEST SPEAKER
We had no guest speaker today, but we did have some business to discuss:

1. Earth Day - We are hoping to do an outdoor clean-up project. An option we are considering is to help clean up the gardens and yard at Lisaard House. Stay tuned...

2. Car Rally - Paul Witmer and Doug have volunteered to be the start of a committee to help Laureen and Ken with the Car Rally fundraiser. The fundraising target is $10, 000 and we need more sponsors. This will be our only fundraiser this Rotary year.

3. Wind-up BBQ. Laureen will host our wind-up BBQ which will be held on Wednesday June 23rd at 6pm. We will be having a food truck and will need dessert and drinks only. We will have a regular scheduled lunch meeting that day with a speaker as well.

4. Golf tournament - At this point, there is no tournament planned as GCC cannot commit to hosting tournments due to covid. Mike will re-assess in the summer.

5. Paul Harris Fellow community recognition - We are looking for a member of the community who would be a deserving recipient of a Paul Harris Fellowship. Please contact Paul Goetz or myself (Doug) if you have any suggestions.

Note: Don will look after the invocation at our next meeting.
