OPENING CEREMONIES

President Dean began the meeting by delegating choir-master Fred with the task of leading the group in the singing of National Anthem.
Peter follow-up with the invocation.
And we returned to our table talk.

TABLE TALK
Among other things ... a search for coffee urns triggered a conversation about the price of a cup of coffee:
- a cup of coffee at the Ritz Carleton was reported to be $9/cup. By comparison, we pay $7.50 for one urn of coffee at GCC - not a bad deal.
And then there is always Tim Horton's.

SERGEANT-AT-ARMS REPORT
Our guest this week was Marin Thomas who had to put up with our table banter.
We had 9 members present (60%).
Dean got credit for a make-up after attending the 1 year anniversary of the Sunset Club.
HAPPY-TOONIES
- Peter was happy to fill in for Jeff at Bingo (or maybe it was Jeff who was happy that Peter filled in for him.
- Fred was happy to have his daughter and family visiting from Alberta and just recently, took them to the airport for their return flight to Alberta.
- Fred was happy to do some ice racing on dirt bikes this week but not so happy to have done no snowmobiling this year (very little snow and poor trail conditions).
- Dave was happy he sold his sleds.
- Doug is happy to be heading to Florida next Wednesday and stopping in to visit Mike and Sue Jennings Orlando.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
- We had a discussion about a possible 50th anniversary celebration of Cambridge North Rotary on a Sunday. It seemed that our plan for a wind-up BBQ in June would suffice for this purpose.
- Dean is working on a district tree planting project.
