OPENING CEREMONIES
 President Dean call the meeting to order. Fred led the singing of Oh Canada . Laureen provided the invocations
TABLE TALK
We all were chatting about our last few weeks. Fred has issues with his water supply at the cottage . He needs to do some investigating to determine why the water isn't coming up to the cottage from the lake .
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
SERGEANT-AT-ARMS REPORT
There were 12 of 12 members present today!  We had no guests, or visiting Rotarians. 
HAPPY-TOONIES
Dave Kinder was happy to report a clean bill of health from his cardiologist !
Laureen was happy to be back from a fun journey to Florida , and her motorcycle adventures enroute to Fl.
Peter was happy to escape his frozen door locks this morning.
Stephan is happy to announce he was  convinced to take his son to San Francisco for March break.
Dean was happy to report he participated in Bingo at the Cambridge Bingo Center . He spent $100 to play, but came out ahead with winnings of $ 118.00 !
ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
Please send a note to Laureen letting her know which community group you would like to receive some of our remaining funds.
 
January 2024 has 5 Wednesdays. We will have that meeting at the Country Club.
 
Dean participated in the Presidents meeting. Other clubs have very successful fundraising campaigns. Fergus made $ 100K selling cheese.The
 
Puslinch club made $25K selling a pasta dinner.
 
There is a Rotary walk for the district coming up in June.
 
The Preston Hespeler club is having its Taco's and Tequilla night on January 25th at Four Fathers Brewery, and also a Trivia night.
 
There will be a tree planting environment project in Guelph this spring.
 
We are planning our breakfast out on Saturday January 27th .
 
Dave is investigating the insurance policy left to our club by Brenda Macdonald.
 
Peter advised us about the full solar eclipse on Monday April 8th .
 
The District conference is set for early in the month of May, consider attending this conference.
 
The District Governor Brenda Halloran would like to make a visit to one of our meetings.

BINGO SCHEDULE

SERGEANT-AT-ARMS SCHEDULE

The Sgt.‐At‐Arms (SAA) shall mark the attendance sheet, input Guest Names, Visiting Rotarians and Make‐ups submitted by club members, as well as calculate the meeting percentage. You will also give the invocation when requested by the President. At the end of the meeting make sure the Secretary has the “Secretary’s Copy”.

 

In addition, the SAA shall also fill in the attendance details on the “Bulletin Editor’s Copy” and make sure the editor receives it by the end of the meeting.
